This part of Kolkata-Kolkata is always moving. There are buses and trucks going by all the time because it is a main road. It can get quite dusty and loud, but we are used to it by now. We are a small project firm. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just have work to do and we do it. The office is tucked away inside the R.K. Enterprises building. It is a practical space where we keep our tools and our records. We have been around the Mohanpur area for a bit. Most of the people working here are from the nearby neighborhoods. We walk or take the bus to get here. Manmurali Projects is just a name that we liked when we started the LLP. We deal with various local projects as they come up. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the job. We drink a lot of tea and spend our days talking to contractors and suppliers. It is a normal, busy life here on the Barrackpore-Barasat Road. We try to keep our feet on the ground.
