Our office is over at 21 Mandeville Gardens. It’s a decent area, pretty quiet compared to the main roads. Shcoparshad Jaiprakash & Corporation has been operating from here for a good long time. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, we know. Most people just call us by part of it. We don't have a big shiny sign outside or anything like that. Inside, it’s mostly desks and stacks of paper and the sound of the ceiling fans. We deal with whatever comes across the desk each morning. The staff here has been the same for years, so we all know how the others work. It makes things easier. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the job right and go home at the end of the day. Mandeville Gardens is a nice place to walk around during lunch. Sometimes we bring lunch from home and eat together in the back room. It’s not formal. If a client walks in, they just sit down and we chat about what they need. No fancy presentations or suits. Just regular clothes and honest talk. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, new buildings going up everywhere. But we’re still here in our same corner. It’s a bit dusty sometimes but it feels like home to us. It is just a place where people work hard and try to stay organized without any of that corporate noise.
