If you are driving down Tansen Road, you will see us right opposite the Patali Hanuman temple. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. Malcoo Electronics has been in this spot for quite a bit. The shop is full of components, boards, and bits of metal. It might look a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time but we know exactly where everything is stored. Well, most of the time anyway. Sometimes a small screw goes missing and we spend ten minutes looking for it under the bench. That’s just part of the job. We handle a lot of different electronic things. Some people come in with old radios and others have newer gadgets that stopped working for no reason. We take a look, see what’s wrong, and try to fix it. It is quiet work mostly, focusing on small details under a lamp. The street outside can get pretty loud with the traffic and the temple visitors, but we get used to it. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. It's just a practical workspace where we get things done. Some days are slow and we just sit and chat, but then three people walk in at once and it gets busy. We just take it as it comes. It's a living and we enjoy the puzzles. It's nice when the light is just right and the solder flows perfectly onto the board.
