Mahabirprasad Fabtex Private Limited

Our office is located at 32 Armenian Street, on the second floor. It’s room T-214. Armenian Street is one of those old, narrow streets in Kolkata that always feels full of history and a lot of cargo. Mahabirprasad Fabtex has been operating from here for a good amount of time. The office is a bit old-fashioned. We have wooden desks and old cupboards full of files and fabric samples. It’s not a modern glass building. We like it this way because it feels familiar. We spend our days coordinating with the mills and checking on the status of our textile orders. It gets pretty busy around noon when the couriers and delivery guys start showing up. We don’t have any big mission statements or anything like that on the walls. We just focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the power is a bit patchy in this part of town, but we manage. We have a few people working here who have been with us since the start. We usually eat our lunch together in the back. It’s a very grounded sort of place. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for decades. We don’t really see the need for a big website or lots of photos. If people need us, they know where the building is on Armenian Street. We just keep our heads down and do our work.
