Netaji Nagar is a busy part of Kolkata and that is where we have our office. It is actually a flat, number four, right at 9/37. Dipanwita Adhikari handles things here. Most days are just about managing the paperwork and talking to people who come by looking for some advice on their business problems. We have been in this spot for a while now. The building is typical for this area, nothing too fancy, just a place where work gets done. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at files on the desks. It gets pretty cramped when more than a few people are in the room at once, especially with all the folders we keep around. Coffee runs happen mostly in the afternoon when everyone starts feeling a bit tired from the heat. We don't really have a big reception or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will usually look up from their computer to say hello. It is a straightforward setup for Mafoi Management And Consultants Ltd. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the papers pile up faster than we can file them. It’s just how it goes in a small office like this. We are just a group of people working out of a flat in south Kolkata. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us.
