Maa Tara Earth Movers

Maa Tara Earth Movers is located at Plot No-259-D/4 over on Roy Bahadur Road. Being in New Alipore means we are right in the middle of a lot of changes and new building projects. We mostly focus on the machines that dig and move dirt, which is a messy job but someone has to do it. Our yard isn't very large, but it fits the equipment we need to get through the week. Most of the time, the engines are running early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We deal with a lot of local contractors who just need a machine for a day or two to clear some ground. It isn't a glamorous business. You will usually find us covered in a bit of grease or red dust from the sites. We started this because there was a need for reliable machines in this part of town. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with air conditioning. If you come by the plot, you just talk to whoever is standing near the back of the trailers. We keep things straightforward. If a machine is available, we let you know. If it is out on a job, you might have to wait a bit. That is just the way it works here in New Alipore. We try to keep the tools in good shape so they don't quit halfway through a hole. It is hard work but it pays the bills.
