M S Muskaras Vyapaar Pvt Ltd is based out of the Kalindi Housing Estate in Kolkata. Specifically, we are over in Block B, in Flat No 5H at Kalidi Vatika P 141. Operating out of a housing estate gives the business a much more relaxed feeling than being in a crowded commercial tower. We have our desks set up in the flat, and it’s a fairly quiet place to get through the daily paperwork. Kolkata can be very humid, so having a comfortable spot in a residential area helps us stay focused. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic since we are in a housing block, which suits us just fine. Most of our trading and business happens over the phone or through pre-arranged meetings. The neighborhood is nice, with people going about their lives, children playing, and the usual sounds of a Kolkata afternoon. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The address 700 089 is home to us. It is not a place with a giant neon sign or a receptionist at the front. It’s just a flat where a few of us work hard every day to keep the vyapaar going. We have our tea together in the small kitchen and discuss what needs to be done. It’s a very practical, low-key way of running a private limited company without any of the unnecessary stress you find in big corporate offices. We just do our best to keep things moving.
