Salt Lake is a planned part of the city, so it feels a bit more organized than some other districts, but it still has its quirks. Being on the first floor towards the back means we don’t get a lot of the street noise, which is nice for getting things done. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some desks, chairs that aren't perfectly matched, and a lot of filing cabinets. It’s the kind of place where you know exactly where everything is because it’s been in the same spot for years. We aren't trying to be the most modern office in Sector III. We just need a reliable place to sit and work. There’s a small area where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for when we need a break. Sometimes the elevator in the building is a bit slow, so we just take the stairs. It’s a very normal, everyday sort of workplace. We don’t have any big corporate mission statements on the walls, just a few calendars and maybe a map or two. It’s just a group of us working in the back of IB 3, day after day.
