Westol Street is a busy place and we are tucked away in Room No- 307 at number 50. It is a small space but we make it work for M. K. Exports. There are boxes stacked up against the walls and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking schedules and talking to people at the docks. The room gets a bit stuffy in the summer so we keep the windows open even if the street noise is loud. You get used to the sound of the market below after a few weeks. We are just a few people here making sure the orders get where they need to go. It isn't a glamorous job but it is steady. We often stay late when a big shipment is due. The desk is usually covered in tea cups and half-eaten biscuits by five o'clock. We don't have any big signs or posters on the walls, just a calendar and some maps. It is an honest living and we have grown to know the neighbors in the other rooms of the building. We help each other out when the power goes or when we need a hand moving something heavy. That is just how it is on Westol Street for us. There is always something to do, even if it is just filing away old invoices.
