If you have ever been to 3 Saklat Place, you know it is a bit of a maze to navigate. We are located right near Chandni Chowk and Princep Street, so the noise from the traffic and the constant horn honking never really stops. M K Computers has been squeezed into this tiny spot for quite some time now. It is a small shop, packed almost to the ceiling with old motherboards, monitors, and massive tangles of power wires. Most days you will find us hunched over a cluttered desk with a screwdriver in hand, trying to figure out why a laptop will no longer turn on. It gets very dusty inside because of all the construction happening nearby. We do not have any fancy uniforms or a dedicated person sitting at a front desk. Usually, you just walk right in and talk to whoever happens to not be busy with a repair at that moment. People bring in PCs that look like they have seen better decades. We try to fix what we can, though sometimes we have to send out for specific parts, which can take a few days. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually when we take a short break. It is a messy business with parts everywhere, but it is honest work. We just stay in our little corner and keep the fans running.
