Lumme Biotech Private Limited

Lumme Biotech Private Limited is based at 20-B, Market Street. It’s a bit of a funny name because we aren't really a huge biotech lab like you see on TV. We have some equipment and we do our testing, but it’s a fairly basic setup. The building is right on the street so we hear everything going on outside all the time. We have a lot of glass jars and machines that hum all day. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples coming in at once. Our team is small, just a few people who actually know what they’re doing with the science stuff. We spend a lot of time writing down results in notebooks. Sometimes the results aren't what we expect, so we have to do it all over again. It’s a lot of trial and error. We don't wear fancy suits, just lab coats that usually have a few stains on them. The break room is just a small table with a kettle for coffee. We don't have a corporate culture or anything like that. We just focus on the science and try to get the data right. Market Street is a busy place to do this kind of work, but we’ve made it work for us over the years. It’s just us doing our thing in a small corner of the city. We keep the lights on late most nights.
