Our office is tucked away at 48 Balaram Bose 1st Lane in Kolkata, zip code 700020. It is a bit of a narrow lane, so parking can be a real headache if you come at the wrong time of day. We go by Lotus Irecon LLP. We aren't some big firm with a glass skyscraper; we are just working out of a local spot that suits us fine. The office is usually a bit noisy with the sound of the street and people coming in and out. We handle a lot of the technical side of construction and consulting. Most of the time, we are just sitting here going through plans or arguing about the best way to handle a specific site issue. It’s not always pretty, but we get things done. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while, and we like that people know us by name. There isn't any fancy corporate culture here. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Sometimes we have to travel across the city for meetings, but we always end up back here in the lane. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just believe in doing the work we said we would do. If things go wrong, we fix them. It’s a very hands-on way of running things, and that’s how we like it. We aren't fancy, but we are reliable enough for the people who know us.
