Looking For A Job

This address at 193M Picnic Garden Road in Kolkata is where I spend most of my time. Right now, it is mostly about searching for the right opportunity. It is a busy street and there is always the sound of rickshaws and cars passing by. The house is a bit old, but it is home. I sit at my desk and look through listings or talk to people about potential work. Kolkata is a big city and things can be quite competitive. It feels like a full-time job just looking for a job. I have lived in this neighborhood for years, so I know all the local shops and the people who live nearby. Sometimes I walk down the road just to clear my head when the search gets a bit tiring. It is a simple life here. I do not have a big company behind me or a team of assistants. It is just me and my resume. I keep track of everything in a notebook so I do not forget who I have talked to. Some days I get a few calls, and other days it is completely silent. That is just the way it goes sometimes. I try to stay positive and keep busy with small tasks around the place. Picnic Garden is a decent area with everything you need within walking distance. I am just waiting for that one chance to get started on something new. It takes time and patience.
