Levoc Estates Llp

20/1B/1 East Topsia Road is where you can find us. The area is always crowded. There are trucks everywhere because of the nearby leather shops and small businesses. It’s a bit of a maze to get here if you don’t know the turns. Inside the office of Levoc Estates Llp, it’s mostly just files and computers. We have a small table in the back where we sit for our lunch breaks. Someone usually brings home-cooked food from their house and we all share it. The walls could really use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Most of the work involves talking to people about land and various buildings around this part of Kolkata. It's not glamorous work, but it fills the day and keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit by the window for some light. You see all sorts of people walking by on the street below. We know the neighbors well, like the guy who runs the small grocery shop at the corner. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the constant activity. Dealing with estates means a lot of checking documents and making sure names are spelled right on every form. It is a slow process sometimes. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes papers get stacked up on the wrong desk. By five or six, we start wrapping things up.
