Our office, Srimani Silpayan India Pvt. Ltd., is at No. 79 Lenin Sarani. We are on the second floor in Unit 214. Lenin Sarani is always a chaotic place with the trams and the buses, but once you get upstairs to our unit, it’s a bit calmer. We have been here for a long time. The building itself is older, with those heavy doors and narrow corridors. Our unit is just big enough for the team and all the stuff we need to keep the business running. We don't have any polished marble floors or glass walls. It’s just regular desks and chairs. We spend our days answering emails and filing papers. Sometimes we have to hunt for a file for a while because our system is a bit old-fashioned. We don't use any corporate jargon here. We just talk like normal people. If there's a problem, we fix it. If someone asks a question, we give them a straight answer. It’s a simple way to run things. We’ve got a window that looks out onto the street, so we can see the madness below while we work. It’s a good reminder of the city's energy. We don't have any big plans to move or change how we do things. We like our spot on Lenin Sarani. It feels right for us and it's where we've built everything over the years.
