Down at 28/3/B, Beadon Row, you’ll find our little setup for Lemon Drop Bakery Private Limited. It’s a quiet enough street, tucked away from the main noise of the city center. We spend most of our mornings here getting things ready for the day ahead. The building is an older one, and the kitchen gets pretty warm once the ovens have been running for a few hours. We aren't some massive commercial bakery you see in the supermarkets. It’s just a handful of us working with flour, sugar, and lemons. We named it Lemon Drop because we liked how it sounded, nothing more complicated than that. You can usually find us covered in a bit of white flour by noon. We don't have a fancy storefront with glass displays and bright lights. It’s more of a production space where we focus on getting the baking done. Sometimes the neighbors pop their heads in to see what’s cooking because the smell travels right down the lane. We’ve had some tough days when the supplies don't show up on time, but we usually figure it out. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on people liking what we make. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. If you’re walking down Beadon Row, you might not even notice us if the door is shut. We just keep our heads down.
