Legacy Properties Llp is situated on the ground floor of 25A Shakespeare Sarani. Having a ground floor spot is actually pretty great because we don't have to wait for any slow elevators or climb a bunch of stairs when it's hot outside. Shakespeare Sarani is always busy, so there is a constant stream of cars and people passing by our door. We do property work, which basically means we spend our hours looking at listings and trying to help people figure out their housing needs. It’s not very glamorous, but it is what we know how to do. The office has some old desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We don't worry too much about having the latest furniture as long as we have a place to sit and talk. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty from the street traffic, but that’s just how it goes in Kolkata. We drink a lot of chai during the day to stay focused. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to handle our clients' properties without making things too complicated. Most people who come in are just looking for straightforward answers about prices and locations. We try to give them that without any extra fluff or sales talk. It’s just us here at 25A, doing our regular daily routine. We've got a small fan that rattles a bit, but it keeps us cool enough.
