We are located on 3rd Cross in the 3rd Block of Kormangala. If you’re familiar with the area, you know it’s a mix of everything. Our place is basically a big space filled with heavy stone slabs and a lot of dust. Working with marble and granite is pretty messy work, so we don't bother trying to keep things looking too polished. There is always the sound of something being moved or cut nearby. Most of the day, we are showing people different types of stone and explaining why one might be heavier or more porous than the other. It’s very hands-on stuff. We get a lot of builders and homeowners coming through, and we just give them the facts about what we have in stock. The office part of it is just a small corner with a table and some dusty chairs. Kormangala is always changing, but we’ve stayed here at this cross for a good while. It gets pretty hot during the middle of the day, so we take a long lunch break when the sun is directly overhead. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who know about stone and work with it every day. We just try to get the orders right and move the slabs where they need to go. It is heavy work but it keeps us busy.
