Lawyer Firm

Our office is down on 66 Laxmi Narayan Motilal Road in Kolkata. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit steep sometimes. We call ourselves Lawyer Firm, which is pretty straightforward. We spend most of our days looking at files and talking to people about their legal problems. Kolkata is a busy city and there is always something going on with property or family matters. We handle a lot of that here. The fans hum in the background while we type up notices and agreements. It’s not a corporate glass building; it feels like a real Kolkata workspace with stacks of paper and heavy wooden desks. We started small and stayed that way because it’s easier to talk to people directly. You don't have to go through five secretaries to get an answer. We take our time with each case because legal things shouldn't be rushed. Sometimes the traffic outside on Motilal Road is quite loud, but we get used to it. People from the neighborhood know they can just walk in and ask a question. We try to be helpful without making things more complicated than they already are. It is just honest work that we take seriously every day. We’ve been at this address for years and don't plan on moving anywhere else for the foreseeable future.
