Our office is located right in the middle of the chaos at Nandram Market. We are up on the 9th floor, in Room 921. Being near the New Howrah Bridge Approach Road means it’s always crowded downstairs. You have to navigate through all the shoppers and vendors just to get to the entrance. Once you reach the 9th floor, the view of Kolkata is actually quite something, though we don't spend much time looking out the window. We are usually too busy with the paperwork and the daily grind of running a business in the city. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many files and blueprints lying around. It’s just how it is when you’re working in construction and development. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to polish our image. We just answer the phones, talk to the contractors, and try to keep our projects moving forward. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication and making sure the numbers add up. The air conditioning struggles sometimes during the peak of summer, but we just keep the fans going. It’s a noisy, busy, and very real place to work. We’ve been part of this market building for a while now, and we’re used to the energy of the 700001 zip code. It’s not always easy, but it’s our daily life here at Krisel Nirman.
