Kotak Securities Ltd

We are located at 1, 3/3 Barisha Road in the Ananya Appt building. This is over in Kolkata, West Bengal. Most people know the area well. It’s a residential-feeling spot, which makes coming to work feel a bit more relaxed than being in a city center. Kotak Securities has a presence here, and it’s basically where we handle all the local accounts and paperwork. We have some desks, a few filing cabinets, and a lot of computers. It’s a pretty standard setup for a finance place. We spend our days looking at charts and numbers. It sounds boring to some, but it keeps us busy. The Barisha Road area is nice because you can find good food nearby when it’s time for lunch. Sometimes we all go out together, but usually, we just bring something from home. We have a small team here. We’ve all been working together for a few years, so we know how each other likes their tea. It isn't a high-pressure office with people shouting into phones like you see in movies. It’s much more quiet and focused. We just try to get the numbers right and make sure everything is filed where it belongs. Kolkata is a great city to work in, even if the rain gets a bit much during monsoon season. We just keep the umbrellas by the door and carry on with our tasks.
