Kotak Mahindra Om Life Insurance

We are over here at 428 8 D Main in Kalyan Nagar. It’s a busy spot in Block I of Bangalore, but inside our office, things are usually pretty steady. I’ve been working here for a while now, and the morning starts the same every day. I unlock the door, get the lights going, and wait for the computer to boot up. It’s an older machine, so it takes a minute. We handle the Kotak Mahindra Om Life Insurance side of things for people in this part of town. Mostly it’s just looking at papers and answering the phone when it rings. Sometimes someone stops by because they’re confused about a form they got in the mail. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the front window, so we keep the blinds down most of the time. There’s a small tea shop just a few doors down where we go when we need a break. Most days it's just me and a couple of others sitting at the desks. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that, just what we need to get the work done. The traffic on the main road can be loud, especially around five o’clock, but you get used to it after a week or so. We just try to keep everything organized so nobody’s file gets lost in the shuffle. It’s a plain job, but it keeps us busy enough for the day.
