We are located over at Poddarnagar Colony, specifically at 1/1, LP-87/8/0. This is Kmbs Fisheries Private Limited. It’s a bit of a different kind of work compared to an office job. We deal with fish. That means we deal with water, ice, and cold storage every single day. The floor is almost always wet and we all wear heavy boots. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We handle the logistics of getting fish from one place to another. Sometimes the trucks arrive at three in the morning, and someone has to be here to meet them. It’s cold and damp, especially in the winter months, but we’re used to it. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. We just have the fish. We spend our time counting crates and making sure the ice hasn’t melted. It’s a practical business. We’ve been in this colony for a while and people know us as the fish folks. We don't try to make it sound more exciting than it is. It’s a lot of cleaning and organizing. If a freezer breaks down, it’s a disaster, so we are always checking the machines. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just keeping things fresh.
