Blue Point

Blue Point is located at 14 Sudder Street. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know Sudder Street has its own kind of energy. It’s narrow, it’s loud, and there’s always something happening right outside the door. Our shop is small, but we cram a lot into it. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the walls are a bit worn out, but that doesn't bother us. We do a bit of everything when it comes to the technical side of things. Most of the day is spent handling customers who walk in off the street. It’s a lot of talking and explaining how things work. We don’t have a corporate office or a uniform. We just wear what’s comfortable for working in the heat. The front of the shop is where we keep the most common items, and the back is for the more complicated stuff. Sometimes the street gets so busy that it’s hard to hear each other, but we manage. We like being in the heart of the action. It feels like we’re part of the history of the neighborhood. We don’t have any grand plans to expand or move. Being at number 14 is just where we belong. It’s a simple, honest business that provides for our families and helps the people who stop by our door. We keep the doors open late most evenings because the street stays busy until well after dark.
