Kejriwal Trading Co Ltd

We are located on the second floor of 45 Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road. It’s an old building in Kolkata, the kind where the stairs are a bit steep and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We’ve been trading from here for quite some time. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. The office is usually filled with the sound of someone typing or the ceiling fan clicking as it goes around. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small brass plate. People who need to find us usually know where to go. Outside, the street is always busy with yellow taxis and people rushing to get to Park Street or the market. During the monsoon, the rain lashes against the windows and we have to make sure the documents don't get damp. It’s a simple setup. We have a couple of big tables where we spread out the ledgers. We trade in various goods, mostly just acting as the middleman to get things where they need to be. There is always a pot of tea going in the corner. We don’t have fancy uniforms or corporate handbooks. It’s just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know the business well enough that we don’t need to talk about it much. We just get the orders sorted and wait for the next day.
