Our office is located at 56 Prince Baktiyar Shah Road in Tollygunge. If you've spent any time in this part of the city, you know it has its own distinct feel, very different from the more modern areas further out. We deal with capital markets here at Kb Capital Markets Pvt Ltd, which sounds like it should be in a big shiny tower, but we prefer being here. The building isn't new, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb, but it feels like home to us. Most days are spent staring at screens and talking on the phone. It can get pretty loud when things are moving fast, but we’re used to the noise. There’s a tea shop around the corner where we usually grab a quick break when the market slows down a bit in the afternoon. We don't have a fancy lobby with art on the walls or anything. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of cables tucked away under the floorboards. The neighborhood is lively, and you can always hear the trams or the traffic nearby. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the other shop owners on the street. It’s a tight-knit community here in Tollygunge. We just do our work, keep our heads down, and try to navigate the ups and downs of the financial world from our little corner of the road. It’s not a glamorous life, but it suits us well enough.
