Kazim Construction And Developers Private Limited is based out of 117, Mahatma Gandhi Road. Being in this part of Kolkata, near the heart of everything, is quite an experience. The streets are always packed with people and rickshaws, so getting anything delivered to the site takes a lot of planning. We are a small team and we spend most of our time at the office or visiting the projects we have going on. The building at 117 is where we handle all the boring stuff like permits and bills. Construction is a tough business around here because you never know what the weather will do. One day it’s too hot to stand outside and the next it’s pouring rain, which slows everything down. We don't try to act like we’re something we aren't. We just build things and try to make sure they are solid. Most of our days are spent talking to contractors or checking on how much brick we have left. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes clients come in upset about delays, and we just have to explain that the trucks couldn't get through the MG Road traffic. That’s just how it goes in this city. We've been at it for a bit now and we just keep going, one day at a time, trying to get the job done right. It is a lot of hard work but we are used to the noise.
