If you head over to Madhurdah, you will find Kawau Realty Private Limited at 888/2. We are situated near the East Kolkata Township Project, which is an area that is changing pretty fast these days. Our office is not hard to find, but it is definitely not a corporate showroom. It is a practical space where we handle all the real estate matters that come our way. There is usually a bit of dust in the air because of all the construction happening nearby, but that is just part of the environment here. We have a few maps of the local plots pinned to the walls and some old wooden chairs for when people stop by to talk. It’s a lot of manual work, checking documents and verifying details for different properties. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us who know the area well and keep track of what is happening with the land around here. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building quite hard, so we usually keep the curtains drawn to stay cool while we work. It’s an honest sort of job, dealing with the ground and the buildings that go up on it. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking around the township to see things for ourselves. It is a busy life, but it feels good to be right in the middle of where everything is growing.
