Kansai Nerolac Paints

This office is based in Abhyudoy Chs, specifically in blocks B 4 and 5, over in the 700107 area of Kolkata. It’s a residential-commercial mix, so there are always people moving around the complex. We deal with the paint side of things, so you’ll see plenty of color swatches and samples lying around on the tables. It’s a bit of a hub for coordinating with painters and local shops. The space is practical, with basic chairs and desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking inventory lists on the computer. It’s not a quiet place; there’s usually some discussion going on about a specific shade or a delivery that’s running late. We get a lot of natural light in some parts of the office, which is nice when we’re looking at colors. It’s not a corporate headquarters with marble floors. It’s a working office where we get our hands a bit dirty sometimes. The staff knows the neighborhood well and we often grab lunch from the small shops nearby. We aren’t here to give a sales pitch; we just make sure the paint gets to where it needs to go. Every day is pretty much the same routine of checking orders and making sure the numbers match up. It’s a decent place to work, even when the humidity gets high.
