Kandoi Company is located at 10 B Burdwan Road here in Kolkata. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and the building itself has seen better days, but it serves us well. It’s a pretty straightforward operation we’ve got going. We don't have a big lobby with a receptionist or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re likely to see us right in the middle of whatever task we’re doing that day. Whether it’s checking orders or moving boxes, everyone here chips in with the work. The neighborhood is okay, though the traffic on Burdwan Road can be a real nightmare during rush hour. We don't really bother with trying to look corporate or fancy. Our office is full of old files and mismatched furniture because we care more about getting the job done than how the room looks. We’ve had the same small team for a long time, so we all know how things work around here. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, and other days we’re running around until late at night. We don't have a mission statement or any big goals other than just keeping the business running and paying the bills. It’s a very local, very normal way of doing things. We just do our bit and hope the customers are satisfied with what they get from us.
