Kalagya Constructions Private Limited

You can find us over at 18B Ashutosh Mukherjee Road. It is a busy stretch of road and there is always something going on right outside our door. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our tools, maps, and plenty of dusty folders. We have been here for a bit now and the walls are covered with various schedules and notes we’ve taped up over the months. The noise from the traffic is constant, especially the horns from the yellow taxis that zip by all day. We have a few desks that are usually buried under blueprints and empty tea cups. It can get a little cramped when everyone is in the office at the same time, but we make it work. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, though mostly we just see the tops of the buses. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with soft chairs. If you come by, you just walk in and find someone at a desk. We spend a lot of time talking about site visits and checking on materials, so the atmosphere is pretty practical. It isn't a place for sitting around and relaxing. When the day ends, we just lock up and join the crowd heading toward the metro station nearby. It is just a standard workspace for a group of people who have a lot to get through before the weekend comes around.
