We are set up at 6 Alipore Avenue. It’s a decent area, a bit quieter than some of the main roads in the city, which we appreciate. J.V. Gokal & Co. Pvt. Ltd. has been at this address for a long time. The building is solid, one of those older structures that feels like it’s going to be here forever. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and a lot of paper. We haven't gone digital for everything yet, so there’s a bit of a paper trail for most things we do. The staff here is a tight-knit group. Most of us have worked together for years, so we know each other's habits and how we like our tea in the afternoon. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay busy enough with the daily tasks. We don't really do the whole 'corporate culture' thing with meetings about meetings. Usually, we just talk over the partitions if something needs fixing. Alipore Avenue is a nice street, though the trees drop a lot of leaves that we have to sweep up every morning. Our daily routine is pretty predictable. We come in, check the mail, handle the accounts, and see what needs shipping out. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If you come by, you’re just going to see us working at our desks. It’s a simple setup for a business that’s been around the block a few times. We just focus on the work at hand.
