Josts Engineering Company

Our office is located at No.19 British India Street. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history in the buildings that surround us. The street name itself tells you how long this area has been established. We do engineering work, mostly focused on industrial stuff and technical projects. The building we are in has very high ceilings and those old-fashioned windows that sometimes rattle when a heavy truck goes by outside. It’s definitely not a modern glass and steel office. It’s a place where we actually do the work. There are technical drawings spread out on large tables and catalogs of various parts scattered everywhere. We’ve been here for a long time, and the place has a bit of a worn-in, comfortable feel to it. We don't go in for fancy carpets or expensive modern furniture. It’s just sturdy desks and chairs and people working on their projects. The atmosphere is usually pretty focused, though we talk quite a bit. People come in and out all day long. British India Street can be quite a maze if you aren't used to the local turns. We don't do any big promotions or marketing. We just handle the engineering requests that come through our door. Sometimes it’s extremely busy, and other times it’s a bit slower, but we are always here at our desks. It’s just a group of us who know the engineering business and keep things moving. We don't see the need to change how we do things just to look more modern or polished.
