Jivaanya Buildcon Private Limited

Jivaanya Buildcon Private Limited is located at 91 Briji East in Kolkata, up on the second floor of Block 2. It is a typical Kolkata neighborhood, very lively and always something going on outside the window. We started this company because we wanted to work for ourselves and build things around the city. The office is small and usually smells like coffee and old paper. We have a lot of files because the paperwork for building anything in the city is quite a lot. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who handle the site visits and the accounting. Most of the day is spent traveling to different parts of Kolkata to see how the work is progressing. The traffic can be a nightmare, so we do a lot of our coordinating over the phone while stuck in a cab. It’s not a glamorous job, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a project go from a drawing to a real structure. We don't use any fancy language or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just a small buildcon company trying to do a decent job for our clients and keep our workers busy throughout the month. That is pretty much who we are and how we spend our days in the office. We don't have many big goals other than to keep doing what we do and paying the bills on time.
