Jardine Henderson Ltd. is over at 4, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sarani. A lot of people still call the street Clive Row. It’s right in the middle of the old commercial heart of the city. The building we’re in has a lot of history. You can see it in the high ceilings and the old windows. We’ve been operating here for a very long time. It’s a big space, but it’s filled with a lot of old furniture and stacks of ledgers. We don't really go for the modern, open-office look. It’s more about rows of desks and people working through their daily tasks. Being on Clive Row means we’re surrounded by other long-standing companies. The atmosphere around here is always busy, with people rushing back and forth. We just keep to our routine. There’s always a lot of typing and the sound of the ceiling fans. We don't have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just do the work that’s been done here for years. It’s a bit dusty in the corners sometimes, but that’s what happens in these old buildings. We have a lot of regular people who have been coming to us for decades. It feels more like a community than a cold office environment. We just take things one day at a time, keeping track of everything in our books. It’s a steady kind of life here at number four. It's how we've always done it.
