Jalan Exports

We’ve been here at Jalan Exports for quite a while now. Our office is tucked away on the first floor of Pramila Mansion. If you know the area around 214/16 Lower Circular Road, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic and people moving about. It’s a bit of an old building, but it suits us just fine for the kind of work we do. Most days are spent handling piles of paperwork and making sure things get where they need to go. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of tea being drunk. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. People often miss the entrance if they aren't looking closely. We focus mostly on the logistics of moving goods out, which keeps us pretty busy from morning until evening. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we usually take it slow. Working on Lower Circular Road means there is always something happening outside the window, which is a nice distraction when things get quiet. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the orders that come through the door. It's a simple operation, run by a handful of us who have been doing this for years.
