Jain Rrealty Limited is located over on Banamali Ghosal Lane in Kolkata. We are at number 1/13. It’s one of those old-school Kolkata lanes where everyone knows everyone. We work on property stuff, helping people find places or managing what we have. It’s not a glamorous job, despite what people think about real estate. A lot of it is just walking around, looking at buildings, and dealing with a lot of paperwork at the local offices. The office we have is pretty basic. We have some old wooden desks and a lot of files stacked up. Sometimes the humidity in Kolkata makes the papers feel a bit damp, but we manage. We aren't trying to look like those big firms with glass buildings in Salt Lake. We like being in this part of town. It feels more real. We talk to a lot of families who are looking for their first home or maybe trying to sell something they’ve had for generations. It takes a lot of talking and listening to get things right. Sometimes the deals take forever because of some small legal thing, and we just have to be patient. We don't use big words or try to confuse people. We just tell them what the situation is and what we can do to help. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes every single day.
