Jain Niryat Ghar

We've been here at 14, Portuguese Church Street for a while now. It's on the first floor, so you have to walk up the stairs. Jain Niryat Ghar isn't a big fancy place. It’s mostly just us working through papers and boxes. The street outside gets pretty busy with people going to the church. Sometimes it’s loud, but we’re used to it. We deal with export stuff mostly. It started small. My desk is right by the window where I can see the traffic. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. We don’t have a big reception area or anything. Just some desks and a lot of files. It’s mostly family and a few helpers. We’ve known the neighbors for years. Sometimes the tea stall guy brings us snacks in the evening when we’re still finishing up. There isn’t much to say about us, really. We just come in, do the work, and go home. If you're looking for us, look for the old sign near the church. The stairs are a bit narrow, so watch your step. We’ve thought about moving to a bigger spot, but this place feels like home now. It’s dusty sometimes because of the road work, but it’s fine. We handle a lot of shipments and it keeps us busy from morning until late. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it’s a bit messy with all the paperwork. That’s just how it goes here in this old building.
