Jain Group

We've been at 44/2A Hazra Road for a while now. Most people know the spot because it's right near Panditya More in the Dover Terrace area. Ballygunge is always busy, so there's always something going on outside the windows. Jain Group is just a small team of us working here every day. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We have some old desks and a lot of paperwork. Usually, we start the morning with some tea and go through the list of things to do. People stop by sometimes just to ask directions because we're near the crossing. It gets loud in the afternoons with the traffic, but we've gotten used to it. We handle a lot of different things here, keeping the operations running. It’s a lot of phone calls and typing. Sometimes the internet is slow, which is annoying, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing the work that needs doing. If you walk past Panditya More, you’ll see our sign. It’s been there long enough that the paint is starting to peel a bit at the edges. We don't spend much on decorating. Most of our time goes into the files and talking to clients. It’s a plain place, but it works for us. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops open and old ones close, but we’re still here at the same address. It’s a steady routine, day in and day out. We just close up at night and do it again tomorrow.
