Heritage Enterprises

We are down on the ground floor of B-30 Katju Nagar, right in the Jadavpur area of Kolkata. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in when they need something from Heritage Enterprises. We’ve been in this part of West Bengal for a good while, and most of our neighbors in Jadavpur are familiar faces by this point. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of stuff stored away, but we know where everything is. It’s a simple setup with a few desks and a lot of paper. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising; people usually just hear about us through word of mouth or see the sign when they're walking by. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though we do get busy around the end of the month. We handle a lot of the local logistics and supply needs. It gets a bit damp during the monsoon season since we are at street level, but we keep the fans going to stay dry. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s a real working space for real work. We start early and usually head home once the sun goes down. If the front door is open, it means we are in and working. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
