We are over at 13A Maya Dasi Road in Behala. Kolkata is a busy place, and Behala has its own specific rhythm that you have to get used to. Our address is easy enough to find if you know the road, but the traffic around here can be a real headache sometimes, especially during the monsoon when the rain starts coming down hard. The building we are in is an older one, like many in this part of the city, with the kind of character you only get from time. We occupy our space and just try to stay organized. It’s a bit crowded with all our files and equipment, but it works for us. Maya Dasi Road isn't the widest street, so parking is always a bit of a gamble. We usually tell people it’s better to just take a rickshaw. Inside, the fans are always spinning to keep the Kolkata heat at bay. We don’t have a lot of decorations or anything special on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning. Most of our neighbors are small businesses or families who have been in Behala for generations. You can hear the sounds of the street all day, which makes it feel like you're actually part of the neighborhood. It’s a very grounded way to run things, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without needing any of that corporate polish.
