Our office is part of the Samadrita Cooperative Housing Society in Kasba Golpark. We are in the Ectp Phase 3 area, right near the Ruby General Hospital. If you know Kolkata, you know this part of the city is always busy. Finding a parking spot for a scooter can be a headache sometimes. Itc Infotech India Limited occupies a space here that feels very much like the rest of the neighborhood. We are not in a massive skyscraper. Instead, we work out of this society building where things are a bit more relaxed. The people living nearby know us by now. Inside, it is mostly rows of computers and people on phones or typing away at their keyboards. We deal with various tech requirements that come our way. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power fluctuates, which is just how things go here. We have a small kitchen area where we heat up our lunch boxes. The smell of fish curry often fills the room around one o’clock. It is a straightforward operation. We do not have any marketing people or sales teams shouting in the halls. It is just technical work being handled by folks who live around this part of West Bengal. We try to leave on time to beat the worst of the evening traffic near the hospital area. It is a solid, local place to spend the workday without any extra drama.
