Ishika Textiles Private Limited

We are located at Poddar Point on Park Street. It is right in the middle of everything in Kolkata. We are on the first floor in Block A. If you know Park Street, you know it is always crowded. There is a lot of energy outside on the sidewalk. Inside the office, it is a bit calmer. We handle textiles. We have been in this building for a while now. The office isn't anything special to look at. It’s got desks, some filing cabinets, and lots of fabric samples. We do our daily business from here. People come in to discuss their orders. We show them what we have in stock. It is very practical. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just looks up from our desk when someone walks in the door. We deal with various types of cloth. Some days are very busy with phone calls and some days are quiet. We prefer the busy ones. Park Street has its own rhythm. We fit into that. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we just take the stairs. It is good exercise. We know the other people in the building. It’s a community of small businesses. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. We just focus on the textile work we have at hand. It is simple and it works for us. We’ve seen the city change around us but our corner stays the same.
