International Export

International Export is tucked away at 6a Shamsul Huda Road. It is a decent enough location, though the parking outside can be a real headache if you arrive at the wrong time. Our office is pretty straightforward. We have some maps on the wall and a lot of schedules pinned up near the phones. The work we do involves moving things across borders, so there is always a bit of stress about deadlines and paperwork. We are just a small team of people trying to stay on top of it all. The building at 6a is easy to find once you know the street. We have a small kitchen area where we eat lunch together most days. It is usually something simple like dal and rice. We do not spend money on fancy furniture because the old wooden desks we have still work perfectly fine. The floor creaks a bit when you walk across it, but that is just part of the charm of an older place like this. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just handle the exports and make sure the labels are stuck on right. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late to finish up or just to avoid the traffic on the way back home.
