Indian Refrigeration Stores

Indian Refrigeration Stores has been located at 1/2 Chetla Road in New Alipore for a long time. We mostly deal with the parts that keep refrigerators and air conditioners working. The shop is usually full of things like copper pipes, compressors, and various small tools. It’s not the neatest place in the world, as there’s always a box being opened or a shipment being sorted. We get a lot of local repairmen coming in to pick up what they need for their day’s work. They don’t want a sales pitch; they just want the right part so they can get back to their jobs. Being in New Alipore is good for us, and Chetla Road is a busy but familiar street. We don’t have a big corporate structure or a bunch of people in suits. It’s just us behind the counter, helping people out. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it. We keep our prices as fair as we can and try to be honest about what’s in stock. We’ve seen many different types of cooling systems over the years, and things have certainly changed, but the basics are still the same. If you need a specific valve or a motor, there’s a good chance we have it somewhere in the back. It’s steady work, and we enjoy being part of the community.
