Indian Navy

Our workspace is located within the Indian Institute Of Management Calcutta in Joka. We are specifically part of the Armed Forces Program, representing the Indian Navy on campus. It is a very different environment than a typical naval base because there are so many students and faculty members around. Our office is a simple room tucked away in the Ntb section. We have our desks and some basic equipment to keep things running. The campus is quite large and green, which makes for a nice view when we look out the window. It is a bit of a journey to get out here to Joka from the center of Kolkata, but it is worth it for the quiet. We don't have any flashy signs or anything that stands out. We just come in, do our administrative tasks, and coordinate with the program officials. It is a very academic atmosphere, which keeps us focused. We don't have any big mission statements or promotional goals. Our job is just to make sure the program requirements are met and that everything stays organized. Sometimes we grab a bite at the campus canteen, which is always full of young people talking about their exams. It is a simple and quiet way of working. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay productive throughout the day.
