We are located over at 41B Simla Road, right inside the Vinayak Garden complex. If you come by, we are in Flat 3A, which is in Block A. Kolkata is a busy place, and 700006 is a part of town that always has something going on. Being the Indian Institute Of Managment Kolkata, people sometimes expect a massive campus, but here we are in a residential-style block. It’s a bit more personal this way. The garden area outside is a nice touch, even if it gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the road sometimes. West Bengal has its own way of doing things, and we’ve blended into the local scene pretty well. The building itself is just a standard flat setup. We’ve got our desks and everything set up in 3A. It’s not some polished glass tower. It’s just where we work every day. You might see neighbors coming and going while we are busy with our papers and meetings. Simla Road has that old Kolkata feel to it that you don’t find in the newer parts of the city. We like being here because it feels real. There’s no fancy reception desk or anything like that. Just a flat where the Indian Institute Of Managment Kolkata operates from. It’s a practical space for us to get things done without too much fuss or distraction from the outside world. It’s just our little corner of the city where the daily work happens.
