Our office is located over in DVC New Colony in Durgapur. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the busier parts of town. We are right there at F 20 2, and the staff here mostly grew up around the area or in nearby Burdwan. We handle a lot of securities work, dealing with the local folks who want to put their money into the market. It’s not a huge operation, but we stay busy. The walk to the office is nice when the weather isn't too hot. Inside, it's mostly desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We spend a lot of time on the phone explaining how things work. Sometimes the power cuts out, which is frustrating, but we have backups for the computers. Durgapur is a steel city, so people here are practical and expect things to be done right. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it's not needed. The focus stays on the numbers and the accounts. Lunch breaks usually happen at the desks or we go out for a quick bite nearby. It's a regular workplace with regular people. We've been in West Bengal for a long time now. Working in the New Colony feels a bit more relaxed than being right in the middle of a massive city. We just keep our heads down and do the work daily.
