Independent Practice As Consultant

I am over in the Lake Town area of Kolkata, at 198 Block B. My office is actually on the first floor in Flat 1 A. It is a quiet enough neighborhood for me to run my independent practice as a consultant. I have lived in Kolkata for a long time and setting up my work here just made the most sense for me. I do not have a big sign outside or anything like that to draw attention. It is just a regular flat where I do all my work. I handle different types of consulting, mostly just giving people advice based on what I have learned over the many years I have been doing this. I do not believe in using complicated language just to sound more important. I would much rather just explain things in a way that actually makes sense to people. Being independent means I handle all the paperwork and the phone calls myself. It can be a lot of work sometimes, but I really enjoy the freedom it gives me. The first floor is nice because I do not have to climb too many stairs and it is easy for people to find. I spend a lot of time at my desk, looking out at the street and thinking through the problems I need to solve. Lake Town is a nice part of the city and I feel like I am a real part of the community here.
