Independent It Consultant

I am an Independent IT Consultant based out of Kolkata, specifically in the 700008 area. I have been around for quite a long time now, and looking back, I realize I was born on the 28th of March in 1947. That is a lot of years of experience, though I mostly keep to myself these days. Being independent means it is just me sitting at my desk dealing with whatever technical problems come my way. I do not have a big office with a lot of staff or any of that fancy corporate stuff. It is a relatively quiet life here in West Bengal. People usually get in touch when something is not working right with their computer systems or if they need some practical advice on what hardware to buy. I try to keep things simple for everyone. Technology changes so fast, but the basic ways to fix things stay pretty much the same. I spend a lot of my days looking at screens and trying to figure out why things are acting up. It can be a bit frustrating sometimes, but that is just the nature of the job. I do not use any jargon or try to sell people things they do not need. I have lived here a long time, so I know the neighborhood and the people well. It is a crowded city but it is home. I just do my work, help out my regulars, and keep things moving as best as I can.
